M O D E L S :   MGF - Silverstone LE (Switserland)

I only discovered this very recently (March 2010), but found it quite interesting as we allready knew the Swiss special edition of the TF, called the Swiss Blue. It looks like MG-Rover in Switserland was into special and limited editions, as this MGF Silverstone was only available for the local market overthere.

Basically it is an MGF MY2000, available in three colours: British Racing Green, Platinum Silver or Anthracite. The BRG version gets Walnut/Cream leather interior while both other colours get the black full leather interior. More special, but also available as an option in other countries, are the 16" inch multispoke wheels. The leaflet states a maximum number of 100 MGF's equiped with the Silverstone package.

All the extra's were worth Fr. 4500.- to Fr. 5500.- depending on the model. The Silverstone package was an additional Fr. 2250.- and available on an 120 MPi or 145 VVC. So the total price started from Fr. 36200.-.
